Die in Sofia geborene bulgarische Pianistin hatte ihr Debüt als Siebzehnjährige mit dem Es-Dur Klavierkonzert von Liszt mit dem Staatsakademieorchester Sofia.  

Seit ihrem fünften Lebensjahr spielt sie Klavier und erhielt ihre musikalische Bildung in Sofia (Antonina Boneva, Prof. Anton Dikov) und bei Prof. Gerrit Zitterbart an der Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover.  

Sie war Preisträgerin bei Wettbewerben u.a. im Jahr 1998 – 2. Preis „Junge Musiktalente“, Sofia, Bulgarien, 2004 - 2. Preis bei dem Internationalen Wettbewerb “Junge Musikalische Talente” in Edirne/Türkei. 2011-2014 war sie Stipendiatin der Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Stiftung – Hannover.  

Musikalische Inspiration bekam die Musikerin durch Masterkurse mit Boris Bloch, Sandor Falvai, Jenö Jando, Pascal Devoyon, dem Abegg Trio.  

Nadezhda Yotzova konzertiert als Solistin und Kammermusikerin mit Musikern wie Stoika Milanova, Borislav Yotzov, Kana Sugimura sowie mit viele Symphonieorchestern an Orten und Festivals wie Varna International Summer Festival, Bulgaria Hall in Sofia, Plassenburg Klassik Open-air in Kulmbach, Bössendorfer-Saal und Mozartshaus in Wien, Rousse Staatsoper, Casino-Hall Baden. 

Ihr Repertoire umfaßst vor allem Klassik und spät Romantik wie Beethoven, Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Scriabin, sowohl Zeitgenössische Musik, Improvisation und Jazz.

Sie spielte u.a. die Uraufführung des Jazz-inspirierten Klavierkonzerts „The Spirit of Jazz“, komponiert für sie und gewidmet von ihrem Vater, dem bulgarischen Jazzmusiker und Komponisten Hristo Yotsov (mit der Rousse Philharmonie und dem Varna Chamber Orchestra im Rahmen des Musikfestivals Varna International Summer Festival 2014.) Eine Studio-Aufnahme des Konzerts, die sie zusammen mit dem Bulgarischen Rundfunk-Symphonieorchester aufgenommen hat, erschien im Jahr 2014.  

Aufnahme der Violinsonate von Miltcho Leviev erschien im 2018 (Bulgarisches Nationales Radio) mit der Geigerin Kana Sugimura.

Im Jahr 2019 debutierte sie mit Rachmaninov zweites Klavierkonzert in c-moll (mit dem bulgarischen Pleven Philharmonie). 

Nadezhda Yotzova arbeitet aktiv als Klavierpädagogin und hat in 2019 das "Piano Studio Bravo" gegründet.

Nadezhda Yotzova made her Debut as 17 years old with Liszt E-flat major Piano Concerto with the State Academy Orchestra in Sofia.    

Starting to play the piano aged 5, she received her musical education at the National School of Music with Mrs. Antonina Boneva and with prof. Anton Dikov at the National Music Academy in her home town Sofia. In 2013 she finished her Master studies at the University for Music, Theater and Drama in Hannover, Germany with prof. Gerrit Zitterbart.

 

Laureate of numerous piano competitions- 2nd prize at the Young Musical Talents(Sofia 1998), special prize at the „Aaron Copland“ Piano Competition (Varna 2000),2nd at the Young Talents „Rotary“ (Edirne,Turkey 2004) „Bela Bartok“ award (ISA„Prague-  Vien-Budapest“ Austria   2005), 2011-2014 scholarship by the Yehudi Menuhin foundation “Live Music Now”, Hannover.

She has attended masterclasses with renown musicians, such as Boris Bloch,  Sandor Falvai, Jenö Jando, Trio “Abegg”.  Her major performances includes recitals in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria and has been soloist with most symphony orchestras in Bulgaria, appearances with various soloists and chamber ensembles.

 

Performing with musicians such as Stoika Milanova,  Kana Sugimura, Borislav Yotzov and  in prestigious halls and festivals, such as the International Varna Summer Festival, Bulgaria hall in Sofia, Klassik-open-air Plassenburg in Kulmbach, “Boesendorfer” Saal in Vienna, Rousse Opera, a.o.

 

Her vast repertoire reaches from Beethoven to the late romanticism, such as Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninov and Scriabin, however contemporary music,  free/jazz improvisation and composing. 

Ms. Yotzova has  recordings for the Bulgarian National Radio and Television:  Hristo Yotsov –  the world premiere of the jazz-inspired Piano Concerto "The spirit of Jazz” dedicated to his daughter (Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra in 2013) and a live concert in 2014; by the American Grammy-nominated composer John Califra – soundtrack for the movie “The last flight of Petr Ginz”; for the northern german radio NDR “Toccatina for Solo Piano" from H. Yotsov, 2013.

Currently Ms. Yotzova  performs a wide repertoire, reaching from classic to the modern times, lately debuting Rachmaninov’s 2nd Piano Concerto with the Symphony Orchestra of Pleven, Bulgaria.

 

She  works intensively in piano pedagogy and in 2019 founded Piano Studio Bravo in Hannover.
